xlegendable: Music, Lyrics vs. Beat.
8 comments / Topic created: 854 days agoWhat do you think is more important, personally I think beat, music aint that great if I cant get into it. As for ballads I still think melodies make the song. Message or meaning dont matter when you cruisin in the day time and wanna bump your heads, Idk bout you but I want a beat.
I personally think people who say 'today's music sucks' or stuff like that just havent heard enough stuff, get outta your mainstream hold and go find something you like! If you like lyrics FIND MUSIC THAT HAS MEANING and stop complaining cos its annoying as hell.
&Artists who are mainstream do what they do COS IT SELLS. SEX SELLS, HOES SELL, DRUGS SELL, thats why its in their music. But if you would actually sit down and find music you can find rap that dont talk about hoes or nones, Heeeeello WuTang Clan! plenty of people jst go digging around.
Oh &Lil wayne is sickkkkkk, some of the best beats right there. (:
i have to say the lyrics are most important because without it its just a bunch of sound with no message
That's why today's music sucks.
music and beat are kinda essential. Lyrics are the least important, unless they are the melody (every single rap, RnB, country song ever) also because classical music doesn't have words and it sounds freaking badass with the beat and melody anyways.
Beat and melodical values in music is what makes music music.
True, some songs have powerful lyrics, but without a rich musical value, the song is dead.
Defiantly beat..
Beat because without beat it fails.
and lyrics aren't essential to good music.
Haaaaa, yeaaaaaaah girl!
lyric.
cuz its not all about bitches and hoes.
