191 comments / Topic created: 854 days agoPost all of your suggestions for the site here. Examples of suggestions are things like "oh we should have a chat box!" or "can you put a jukebox at the bottom of the page so we can listen to music while clicking away in craze.cc?". Stuff like that.
We can discuss the suggestions and see who likes them. This is the topic to do it in :).
Everything will be considered thoroughly before being researched and put in. Because everything takes time and we don't want to waste time doing something that is not going to work out do we?

admin panel is being updated so that you guys will actually understand what to do
Admin panel should be a lot easier to figure out how to use now
How do you get to the admin panel.. without clicking on someones user button [only if they make a topic]
you can't.
for the time being, you have to goto a topic, click status. then from there, either choose "users" or "comments" tabs.
Theres not much mods can do with this panel.. ._________.
-an organized forum with categories and topics and crap
-page where you can see members, like a member's page
-lil bar to see how many people are on and who IS on
-more stuff to do with your profile
-The thing is it's not a forum so we want this simple layout on the site.

-Pikachu brought up having an online icon next to users who are online. I don't think a bar to see how many people are on and who is on is necessary though. That's like a forum and we don't need it.
-We want to have somewhat simple profiles because the whole point is to post on topics, but specifically what kind of things would you suggest to be in the profiles? :D
After typing up a comment and clicking the "submit" button, it would be great if it directed you to the bottom of the page showing your comment after the page reloads. It may be annoying for people to have to scroll all the way back down to the bottom of the page to read the rest of the comments.
Multiple pages for the topics should be added. 50 comments per page? That sounds reasonable. It is a hassle to scroll so far down, etc. Jiexi and I already talked a little about this but this is just a reminder if you didn't add it to the list Jiexi. :P

It's great that you use it but a lot of people don't know about it and won't use the end button to go to the bottom of the page.
Too bad that almost nobody uses that button xD

Need to get rid of that haha, because the conversation won't be closed, it just won't bump to the top anymore. Maybe for this topic we should still have it bump?
selecting individual topics as "invincible" is easily said, hard to be done.
Yeah, that's true. Do we still need that message though? The topic won't close so it's giving users the wrong impression.

WORKS! when you send a comment, it brings you to your comment, that includes if you comment in the middle of the page.
Sweet. That's awesome haha. It will be much more convenient for people now :).
also, editing comments will bring you back to that comment once you finish and submit your changes.
no need to add it to topic editing because you're always brought to the top.
Great. Everything you said makes sense. And if you delete a comment it will bring you back to where you deleted your comment right? (just to be consistent)

currently only admins can delete comments,
its part of the admin panel, so i gotta link it to check if the user owns the comment/topic he/she is trying to delete
So there isn't a function for us to delete our own comments?

Implement automatic picture resizing? a lot of high quality pics are massive like 3200x1800, and most forums have automatic picture resizing to resize it to 800x450 and such. Then when clicked on, the image will expand to full size, can this be implemented?
ya i know about this issue :/, have other things to do, so its not a top priority.

before it only took 5 comments or 10likes/dislikes (obviously a fail)

I already added the like button to every single comment besides just the parent comment.

EDIT: and mod/popular users colors.. or if someone ins't active after a month they get a gray name color.

more frequent members get an awesome color. (achieved by number of posts/comments you have made on the site). regular members get a regular color. and inactive members (rarely use, or haven't after a month or something) get gray. =]
just an idea. thought it'd be fun. incentive to comment/post more?

How come for the Last Post By Time after 59 minutes it just says 1 hour for all of the other ones lol. Look at the home page and scroll down and you'll know what I mean.
I guess after an hour it simply counts by hours.
Nevermind, it looks like it's fixed now. Before after 1 hour, all the ones below said 1 hour ago too lol. Maybe there was a bug or something.
