191 comments / Topic created: 751 days agoPost all of your suggestions for the site here. Examples of suggestions are things like "oh we should have a chat box!" or "can you put a jukebox at the bottom of the page so we can listen to music while clicking away in craze.cc?". Stuff like that.
We can discuss the suggestions and see who likes them. This is the topic to do it in :).
Everything will be considered thoroughly before being researched and put in. Because everything takes time and we don't want to waste time doing something that is not going to work out do we?
can we have ranks based on comments andstuff? or like custum colored names or stuff like that,

i think the old way looked better but im not sure if its because im not use to seeing it in a different place
i'm working on a little modified design because moving the buttons made it a lot less cluttered

make subscriptions to people so when they make posts or something you know

The buttons look great now. And there are X's for every topic (doesn't matter if you voted already or not).
In the future, one size for all the buttons would be the best imo, but for now this looks fine.

Yeah Notifications is on the list. Jiexi is working on it :).
Specifically how would you like to be notified? Email? On-site notifications?

Oh Ok.. if your going to do notifications I think it would be a good idea to have an option to stop receiving notifications from just one topic if necessary

Notifications are semi-working.
Just goto your profile and click the comments tab.
That shows the topics you comment on from the one with the most recent comment to the one with the oldest comment.
You can also click the other tabs if you only want the ones you liked/disliked for example
Never mind. Don't really do notifications.
I guess the if you click All Activity at the top, you get a list of what's been most recently posted. A lot less annoying than actual notifications, but still serves its purpose.
well the "Notifications" link will take you to a page that shows you all the topics you have commented on in order of most recently updated.
All you have to do is look to see if the last comment by: xxxxxx has changed
Can you include like a *how long ago* with "last comment by:"?

Oh, and for the "Last Post By" thing we still need the time and date of the post too. That helps a lot. Right now it just tells you when the topic was created.

I probably will add that, but... all it will do is giving you a friendlist and what was there last post.
Maybe a PM system, but this is a social discussion network, 1 on 1 conversation doesn't benefit the community as a whole.
But you can use PM's to contact admins.
We will probably still need a PM system. I talked to Jiexi about this yesterday and we agreed to have a PM system for all members. Hopefully people will focus on contributing to topics instead of having 1on1 conversations with people. The PM System will mainly be used for Admins to message members and vice versa.

Here what I have so far.
1) Do NOT flame or troll
Flaming is "an online argument that becomes nasty or derisive, where insulting a party to the discussion takes precedence over the objective merits of one side or another". Basically, getting into a mudslinging argument. Trolling is where a user tries to coax other users into flaming. Flaming will get you suspended, constant flaming and/or trolling will most likely get you banned.
2) Keep outside disputes outside
If someone is harassing you over AIM/MSN, this is not the place to get a solution. We cannot deal with anything outside of Craze. Likewise, don't let outside arguments boil over into Craze.
3) Do NOT backseat moderate
It makes you look like a total idiot, especially when you're wrong. In the case of a thread posting in a wrong forum, don't post for the sole reason to tell that the thread needs to be moved - a moderator can make that decision just fine.
4) No 18+ content
No adult-oriented material is allowedin the thread title or similar. This includes any form of pornography or nudity [and hentai]. This also includes textually explicit postings.
5) No illegal material
No illegal material can be posted. This includes warez (illegal software), cracks (edits to software to make them fully functioning), and ROMs.
6) No excessive swearing
No words are filtered, so you can post whatever you want to. Don't do it in poor taste though, or you'll just get made fun of.
